Ok so ownCloud is just fantastic. At version 2.0 it is so polished and works so well.
So just how much do I think ownCloud rocks? This much:
You can browse and play the music on your ownCloud (or any Ampache server) from Bangarang. Added to master this weekend after a couple days of hacking. 🙂
Did I mention that ownCloud rocks?!
owncload =)

Hi, just installed Bangarang from git, and owncloud from git too. Owncloud works fine on browser and in dolphin. In bangarang have filled the form but after saving I can’t see the new source in the list. As ‘server’ have inserted http://localhost/owncloud: is it right? Need to edit any owncloud settings?
Regards

The server field should say “http://[host]/owncloud/apps/media” or in your case “http://localhost/owncloud/apps/media”. I guess I should add a tooltip or some other help for what to enter as the server. Shouldn’t need to edit any owncloud settings. I set mine up this weekend and it just worked.
Hope this helps!

Bummer. I’ll be sure to take a look to see what might be causing it. Thanks for the feedback!

Sounds great… didn’t give it a shot yet, but it more and more evolves so I might want to try it…

Awsome!!… there is another typo though. It is Apache Server, you wrote ampache (Application and thread)..

Actually I meant ampache (http://ampache.org). 🙂
